The Media Specialist is Responsible for Overseeing Digital Media Campaigns for the Channel Sales Team of Advantage Media Solutions.  This Role Requires Previous Campaign Management AND Media Planning Experience.  The Ideal Skills for This Role are Attention to Detail, Technical and Digital Acumen with Tools and Process.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management & Oversight

  • Effectively Manage Time and Responsibilities in Regards to Deadlines and Client Needs
  • Oversee the Execution of Media Marketing Campaigns from Imitation to Completion for Designated Client Portfolio: Across Multiple Demand Side Platforms (DSPs)
  • Ensure the Designated Campaigns Are Delivering the Desired Outcome of the Customer and that the Customer’s Health and Usage is Maintained
  • Set-up Reoccurring Performance Reports for Client Distribution
  • Troubleshoot Technical and Optimization Issues that Arise with Campaign Execution
  • Ensure the Daily Tracking and Media Budget Management Are Accurate and Regularly Updated for All Campaign Assignments
  • Oversee the implementation, flight strategy and execution of every campaign per the IO requirements.  Have the knowledge to offer suggestions to the client if the IO will not be able to be executed properly. 
  • Have the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and resolve them appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • These campaigns usually have a short turnaround time so this person needs to be highly responsive and detailed.  Additionally they should have the ability to escalate appropriately (internally or externally).
  • Knowledge of creative types (existing and emerging), and pixels.
  • Manage and Continually Improve Reporting and Evaluation Output for All Campaigns
  • Manage Tag Management, Including but Not Limited to Ad Blocking Tags, Data Management Tags, etc. via Platforms Such as DoubleVerify, DCM, IAS.
  • Work Closely with Production/Creative Team to Ensure Proper Implementation of Tracking and Event Tags
  • Where Needed – Monitor Viewability Performance via Platforms such as Double Verify
  • Manage Complex Creative (HTML5) Trafficking Uploads and Tagging Requirements for Campaigns
  • Assist Sales on Ad-Hoc Basis with Pre-Planning / Strategy (ex. Audience Sizing and Forecasting)
  • Keep sales and any other internal teams informed of issues and communications (verbal or in writing). Solid project management skills are a must.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 Years of Programmatic Media Experience and Knowledge of Digital Space   
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Team Player, With the Confidence to Take the Lead When Necessary
  • Passion and Intellectual Curiosity for Consumer Technology, Social Media and Emerging Digital Technologies
  • Demonstrated Self-Starter
  • Preferred Platform Experience: Centro, Turn, MediaMath, DataXu, Google Doubleclick, Double Verify
