The Data Management Platform (DMP) Manager is Responsible for Overseeing the Day-To-Day Management of the Data Management Platform on Behalf of Large Consumer Brands, as Well as Advantage Media’s Proprietary Data Set.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Data Strategy, Organization and Set Up of all Media Programs From Initiation to Execution, Including But Not Limited To:

  • Oversee Taxonomy Development and Maintenance
  • Maintain a Complete Understanding of the Data Management Platform and Stay Up to Date on New Products and Offerings
  • Understanding of the Core Pillars of Onbaording a DMP (Collection, Unifcation, Organization, Activation, Reporting/Analytics)
  • Oversee and Manage Tag Creation & Quality Assurance of Client Accounts
  • Oversee and Manage Tag Creation & Qaulity Assurance of 1st Party Data Set
  • Work With Production, Media and/or Analytics Teams in Developing Rules for Site Level Data Mapping & Ingestion
  • Help Build Data/Media Strategy for DMP Clients
  • Maintain a Complete Understand of CRM Onboarding Process
  • Maintain Understanding of Operations Tagging and QA Process
  • Understanding of Reporting & Analytics Platforms
  • Maintain a Strong Understanding of How to Analyze and Tell a Story with Data
  • Support Operations Team Members In Relation to DMP Tagging, Categorization and Data Usage
  • Participate in or Lead Client Kick-Off Calls and Weekly Status Calls (If Applicaple)
  • Participate or Lead Evaluation of Data Partnerships
  • Advocate for Media Services and Best Practices Within Internal Peer Meetings
  • Participate in Relevant Learning Activities for Personal-Professional Growth


  • 2-3 Years of Experience and Knowledge of Digital Media and the Programmatic Landscape
  • Understanding of the DMP Landscape
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Strong Understanding of Media/Data Strategy and Planning
  • Team Player, With the Confidence to Take the Lead When Necessary
  • Demonstrated Self-Starter 
  • Management Experience a plus
