Graphic Design Intern (NYC)

We're looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our NYC team. The Creative Department is responsible for the implementation, visual identity, and execution of all projects within the agency. Spearheading AMP Agency’s integrated approach, the Design Team works directly with the Creative Director to insure the highest quality work. The Design Intern will play an important role within the Creative Department and will actively provide day-to-day support for one or more design teams for execution of our industry-leading creative. This is a paid position. It can also be used for college credit if required by your university.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting creative team across many different projects
  • Creating custom content for brands across various social platforms
  • Assisting with website edits and mockups
  • Retouching and resizing photos
  • Participating in brainstorms and strategy meetings
  • Assisting with stock photo searches
  • Banner production

Qualifications Include:

  • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great visual design solutions
  • Knowledge and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Strong visual aesthetic with knowledge of current design trends
  • High level attention to detail
  • A healthy addiction to the internet and working knowledge of various social platforms
  • Must be team-oriented, responsive, and comfortable collaborating
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment on multiple projects
  • Prior internship experience within a creative agency environment is a plus
  • A great sense of humor (trust us, you’ll need it)
