AMP is searching for an experienced analyst to join our growing Analytics team. Aspiring candidates should have a passion for data-driven storytelling, and a desire to apply this practice in helping brands produce meaningful marketing results. This Senior Analyst will play a visible role on our team, serving as the tactical lead on one or more accounts; meaning that communication and organizational skills will be especially important.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary day-to-day analytics lead on several key agency accounts – providing a holistic view of marketing impact, interpreting trends, identifying opportunities and leading the conversation around data activation.
  • Collaborate closely with client teams to guide integrated cross-channel storytelling, data interpretation, and analytics program evolution.
  • Work alongside AMP’s media team to produce context-rich, actionable steps that can evolve our clients’ marketing – including in-market optimizations and testing opportunities.
  • Build storytelling materials for client meetings, present findings, and help to facilitate conversation in these environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Economics or related field
  • 1 – 3 years of agency or brand-side marketing analytics experience, particularly working with digital media data. Experience with traditional media a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communications skills, and a comfort level with presenting work to both internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Ability to solve problems, and translate these solutions into stories that not only explain what happened with a client’s marketing; but argue why, and recommend how to improve.
  • Appetite for constantly improving our quality of work, and a desire to contribute new thinking on strategy and technology to our internal team.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, particularly pivot tables and lookup/matching functions (e.g. VLOOKUP) is recommended.
  • Basic understanding of Analytics and Media technology is required. Knowledge of advanced solutions, such as Multi-Channel Attribution, is a plus.
  • Experience with reporting platforms for media (e.g. DoubleClick Report Builder) and site-side Analytics (e.g. Google 360, Adobe Analytics) is recommended.
  • Experience with presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint and/or Keynote) is required. Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
